MAX Research Initiatives

The MAX Research Initiatives are intended to identify emerging trends and technologies that will be required to deliver world class and leading edge services to the MAX regional institutions. MAX acts as a catalyst to build intra- and inter-regional collaborations to acquire funding and develop these technologies from concept to robust and reliable service capabilities.

The MAX research activities complement the regional production network services. As an organization, MAX must provide more than just engineering and operational support for advanced networks. MAX must be directly involved in the research and development of future network technologies in order to insure that the emerging networks fully address the R&E community's needs.
